Proglas Epoxy Resin Part A is one part of a two-part system. It has low viscosity, low shrinkage, good chemical resistance and minimal odor. Part A MUST be used with a 2:1 or 4:1 hardener. These hardeners come in fast, medium and slow to best fit the ambient temperature and desired pot life. You can purchase Part A and Part B in a kit (2:1 epoxy resin kit, 4:1 epoxy kit) or separately (2:1 hardener, 4:1 hardener).
Uses:
-Yacht and boat construction and repair
-Vacuum bagging
-Ideal for high performance and light weight parts
-Adhesive for bonding fiberglass, wood, metal and some plastics
-Can be mixed with additives or filler to achieve thixotropic properties for high strength adhesives and reinforced compounds.
Application:
-For best results, the resin and work area should be between 75°F and 80°F.
-Wear proper safety clothing including gloves and googles.
-Make sure the surface is prepped before mixing resin. It should be dry and free of contaminates such as dust and oils.
-Accurately measure resin and hardener and thoroughly mix for proper curing and performance.
-Mix the resin and hardener for 3-5 minutes making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the container.
-Apply using a fiberglass roller, brush, spreader or squeegee

Handling and Storage:
Closed containers should be stored in a cool, dry place. It should be stored at temperatures below 75°F and away from sunlight and heat sources.
